Suar Wooden Bowl with Coconut Shell Inlay
Suar Wooden Bowl with Coconut Shell Inlay
This beautiful natural bowl is made from native Balinese Suar Wood and coconut shell. The coconut shells are collected from nearby street food vendors, cut and glued piece by piece. Due to the intricacy of the process, it takes 1.5 months to hand-carve a small batch of these elegant products. They feature a timeless tableware aesthetic showcasing a traditional hand-carved process.
- Hand-carved from Suar Wood, sealed with natural, food safe oil and wax.
- Made in limited number due to the availability of wood waste.
- Smooth & matte finish.

These bowls are handmade by an artisan community led by women in Ketingan Village Indonesia and designed in Australia by Kayu&Co, who partners with remote artisan communities for positive social impact and upliftment purposes.
Nothing goes to waste! All products are created by recycling or upcycling wood and coconut fibre waste that might otherwise end up in landfill.
